Has anyone researched John Corkill b.1706, son of John CORKILL 1667-1747 & Jane KERRUISH 1674-1752? His mother "left & bequeth’d all her worldly Goods to her son Jon: Corkill and her Daughter Katherine Corkill Equally Betw’xt them", so he was alive in 1752.
Their eldest son William had predeceased his father, so William's young son John inherited the land Ballagorry Mooar when his grandfather died in 1747.
Jane & John's eldest daughter Margaret 1702/3-1744/5 married William Kennish from Ballagorry Beg in 1720/1 - 6 children - and fourth child Catherine 1712/13-1784 died unmarried and named her niece and nephew in her will.
But no sign of brother John.
A John C died in Maughold in 1772, but no will. He wasn't the JC died Maughold 1784 (was of the Ards), and another d.1786 (no will).
A John Corkill / Joney Kelley married in Maughold on 13 Jan 1749/50 which seems too late, so perhaps married/died in a different parish - although his mother's will didn't say he was elsewhere.
Thanks for any ideas.
