not wishing to discourage you in any way but those marriages taking place on the Island are usually well documented and indexed (the paper probably got the details from the Manx press which is now mostly available via iMuseum) - what would be much more interesting (and often difficult to find) are any marriages (or other events)off Island eg in Cumbria with one partner having a Manx connection - are working from an original copy (if so one should always quote the date of issue) or is the paper now online somewhere?
