Thanks for that Frances, that's brilliant! It's interesting that all the beneficiaries are Corjeags, not Corkills. I can't imagine that Jane's will would have been any different if she'd had one. I wonder if that means he didn't have any children of his own by his first marriage, or perhaps he outlived them. I suppose if I could find out who his first wife was I might then find that out too.
Looks like John, eldest son of Richard Corjeag & Jane must have died (the one on The Defiance at Trafalgar, although I never found a burial for him). Thomas Corjeag is the one who married Margaret Killey and who left Narvarnagh to his youngest son, also Richard, who strangely didn't seem to do anything about it. Edward is the elder Richard & Jane's youngest son who married Ellinor Moughtin and stayed around Ballaugh/Jurby.
The 'my part of the house and land' is interesting. I wonder if he would have a share by virtue of being the husband or would there be some transaction that would be recorded.
