I am searching for a link between the families shown in the subject.

A Catherine Watterson married a Jonathan Pearson on 23 April 1832 in Liverpool. The copy of the original Banns document shows a Deborah Cubbon and James McGreary as being in the presence of such a marriage. Does anyone know of a link between the bride and the witnesses please?
Catherine and Jonathan were on the IOM in 1833 for the birth of their first child.
