if you have a car then easy to get around Maughold tho suggest getting a good map tho most up to date GPS navigators now include the IoM - the 'tram' or properly the Manx Electric Railway offers a much more convenient method (+ great views - remember to fit on the right hand side of tram) as it goes post Ballasloe (stop = Corna) and Ballajora - you can get off here and walk the mile to Maughold church + yard - hope for good weather when a pleasant tho uphill walk - buses to/from Maughold 'village' not that frequent - pick up a timetable from the information desks at either sea terminal (where you can buy rover tickets) or the airport
