sounds like one of my summaries rather than original will - sett = settlement or Marriage Contract (offspring esp the eldest) would be given a part of the property on marriage or if the old parents found they could no longer manage the whole farm )- see article on manx Notebook re Marriage Contracts and the CD for many summaries of such deeds
