Hello - I'm looking for my great grandfather, John Cunningham. The facts I know for sure are: He was born in Shipbourne, Kent, England in 1855 or 1856. He was in the British Army and was on Lord Roberts' march from Kabul to Kandahar 1878-1880. He married Mary Ann Irwin in early 1892. In 1901 Census they lived in Sydenham, outside London with their 3 children - Lilian, Jessie, and John (called Jack). The 1911 Census shows Jack in the workhouse in Anerley and Lil and Jess working as servants. Can't find the parents in 1911. Family story says John went to the Isle of Man and died there, but it isn't know when he left England. I know that Mary Ann died 11 Aug 1917.
