Thanks Frances. I've spent all day searching for the line of inheritance of the Beary land. Ann Quayle( nee Clague, nee Kewley) must have left a will. I can't find it. She was alive in 1851 census. She must have left the Beary land/property to her daughter, Ellen Quayle (nee Clague), as Ellen wills it to her granddaughter in 1914. To Ivy Quayle' the rent and use of the garden at Ballig St Johns, now occupied by my brother John Clague...at the age of 21 Ivy can inherit the garden and premises'.
The interesting item I've discovered is that Ann Clague married her daughter Ellen's brother in law, William. Ann's Toy Boy!! William Quayle leaves his Clague stepsons money as inheritance...and it all fitted into place!!!
In 1924 Ellen Quayle's son in law , John Lewney died at Ballig Bridge
