the index is somewhat erratic in that it sometimes indexes on names of the two parties (in this case the parents), other times on the two marrying. The date of the deed can be many years (in some cases decades) prior to the date it passed through the court - there are 3 key dates , the first being that on which it was signed, the second was that on which the various parties attested it before a deemster etc without which it would not generally be accepted and thirdly the court through which it passed - usually a significant delay between the 2nd and 3rd dates indicated that some family event had required the record to be produced in court eg to register a change in land holding
