I have photocopies of the Andreas parish register of marriages and burials (1911 copy which is on LDS film) up to the mid-1700s, and there is a gap in the register of most records between July 1685 and 1704.
There is a note in the marriage register "Note, There were no Marriages writ in the Church Registry from 1685 to 1704, during Parson Xtian's & Mr Curghy's time in Kk Andrews till Mr Archdeacon Wattleworth came to this Parish"

One of the only two marriages recorded in 1701 and 1703 was that of "Edward Lawson & Joney Xtian als Keneen Marry'd" written under the heading 1701 with a note on the side saying "June 1722". (Presumably when it was added to the register?)
