I am descended from John Wattleworth a seaman who married Mary Pattinson 2 Nov 1763 in Cross Cannonby Cumberland England, Since no othjer Wattleworths appear in Cumberland prior we must assume he came from I O M
It is suggested that he is the son of Henry Wattleworth of Kirk German
But have no proof of this.
Does anyone have any info on the Wattleworths that went to Cumberland??
