Corkills of Douglas late 1700s/early 1800s

Hello.

I was hoping someone could offer information about a Corkill family that lived in Douglas, Isle of Man in the late 1700s into the early 1800s. The eldest son in that family was my 3x great grandfather William Corkill, who was baptized in Douglas in 1801.

His parents were Thomas Corkill and Elizabeth Lewin and I have thus far identified 9 siblings. They all appear to have left the Isle of Man between the late 1820s and early 1840s. The siblings were: William (b. 1801), Thomas (b. 1802, ), Elizabeth (b. 1804), Robert (b. 1805), Edward (b. abt. 1808), John (b. 1813), Philip (b. abt. 1815), Ann (b. abt. 1819), and Margaret (b. 1821).

I believe parents Thomas Corkill and Elizabeth Lewin were married in Kirk Michael in 1800. I believe that Thomas died in Braddan in 1834 and that Elizabeth died in Braddan in 1831 .

If anyone knows more about this family and its ancestors, please let me know.

Thanks.
Kurt
