The Qld Manx Society has commissioned the writing of a play to celebrate its centenary in 2014. The theme is of a Manx woman who migrates to Qld but in her later years suffers from dementia and slips back into the past.
The authors wish to contact Manxies in Qld to record their memories of the Island and their transition to life in Qld. These memories will also be kept on record as part of QMS community history and will also form the background to the play.
I know their are a number of Qlders with Manx origins/background and hope they will participate.
