Thanks for the information Wayne. I am the daughter in law of Robert Edwin Hudgeon (Bob), son of Charles Edwin Hudgeon who emigrated with his father Robert Edwin Hudgeon in 1907. My father in law does not know anything about the marriage to Olive Qualtrough. It seems that they went their seperate ways. After coming to Canada, Robert and his children (Charles, Ethel amd May) farmed a homestead in southern Alberta with William. Robert died in Salmon Arm while on holidays visiting family.
There are so many Robert Hudgeons that it is hard to distinguish who is who at times.
