Robert & Alice are my 6x gt grandparents via son Robert/Susannah, grandson John/Jane Kinley, gt granddau Jane Casement/Robt Lawson, usw.
Robert Casement ~1700-38 and Alice Garrett ~1700-? were married 1724-02-06 Lezayre; children Robert Casement bptd 1725-02-13 Lezayre, bd 1808-03-17; Catherine Casement 1727-33 Lezayre; John Casement 1732-33 Lezayre; Esther 1735 - ? Lonan; Jane 1738 - ? Lonan. They moved to Lonan ca1733/4. Robert bought a small piece of Intack in "The Gill nr Glen Roy River" this was recorded in Lonan SSS 1738 no 35 - Vendor John Fargher to Robt Casement [Court transactions often post-dated the deal - see Frances' manxnotebook online].
Back in 2007 I transcribed Robert's decree at MNH [see ht tp://www.iomfhs.im/lawsons/twill/1738_036.html][join up ht tp]. We couldn't take digital copies in those days, so I seem to have missed two salient points regarding 1) Alice's 2nd husband [I have "Alice's deceased husband"] and 2) the overseers Charles & Thos Casement [most likely Robert's brothers].
There is also the separate problem of his "four children" - only 3 seem to have been alive in 1737/8.
I have Alice Garrett's family as probably from Lonan, where she continued to live after her husband's death. She was named as Alice Casement in 1753 in her brother Daniel's Will.
Parents Ewan Garrett d.1741 Lonan / Jane Creetch d.1737 Lonan. Will summaries of both Ewan & Jane not inconsistent; Ewan's son Daniel d.1753 confirms his sister as Alice Casement. Dau Isabell Garrett d.1756 [had illeg daughter Mary [Rose] McHood, who was also named in Ewan's 1841 Will]. Ewan Garrett [Alice's father] was named as the son & executor of Margaret Knakell {[als Garrett] als Caroon} who d.1723 Lonan "agd about 100" - also named in this Will was granddau "Elish Garrett".
Alice may have re-married after 1753, but so far can't find her. She was still alive in 1756 [sister Isabel's Will 1756 summary in manxnotebook].
Susannah Bourne's parents are also elusive; a John Burne and Elizabeth ?Dolby? had children ~ 1740s in Dalby, Patrick - this was noted before the IGI "improved" its database to make it even more confusing! - and was probably a mis-interpretation of surname/placename anyway.
I have followed the Casements into the 19th century, and although I have concentrated on my direct line, I do have data on other members of the family, to which you are welcome; my e-mail is laxeymann at ntlworld dot com [at = @ dot = . and close up]
