I found this excerpt about Old Douglas on the Manx Notebook that refers to Gick, the shoemaker, and his two daughters, Jane Gick who married Will Livesey and Mary who married Tommy Atkinson (druggist) on Duke Street. Any information on Tommy Atkinson and Mary would be greatly appreciated. I am a descendant of William Kneale Atkinson who appears on the 1841 census as a druggist on Duke Street with his wife Kate and son William Henry.
