some agreements survive (eg in wills) but not to any great extent - there was no major industry on the Island that took in large numbers of apprentices other than traditional ones such as tailoring, shoemaking and milling - in many of these it would appear (again from wills and marriage contracts) that sons were often apprenticed to family members (uncles etc)
There were some apprentices to trades in Liverpool
