there are NO civil records until the late 1870's (apart from a very very few from mid 1840's who were staunch non-conformists (why not read up on www.manxnotebook.com - they give no address info) - basically you have what is in the Parish reg + what is reported in the press (see newspapers at www.imuseum.im)
