My Thomas Kelley is not the well known Thomas. I've read his story and the family details don't match. My Thomas did, however, settle in Ohio near Cleveland, in Summit County. He married a woman named Margaret Peoples in Pennsylvania in 1839. In census records he claimed to have been born around 1808 in Isle of Man. That's all I know of his origins and was hoping that perhaps there might be some local records that I might be able to examine when I visit Isle of Man in September.
