I think I might be getting somewhere now.

I`m pretty sure the parents of James Leonard Crellin were Private Charles Caesar Crellin and Elizabeth Louisa King (daughter of John King) married 1911, she seems to have remarried John Robert Kelso in 1921.

Charles Caesar Crellin lived in Barrack street Douglas, was in the 13th battalion/Cheshire regiment, I think they caught the last few battles of the Somme before participating in the 3rd battle of Ypres/Passchendaele, he died in 1917.

He was the son of John Charles Crellin and (Margaret) Jane Fargher who married in 1886.

John Charles was the son of Thomas Crellin, Jane Fargher was the daughter of Caesar Fargher.

Can anyone confirm this?
