that is the email address that I used to correspond with Thordis. It was in the summer of last year but I still have her messages. i will try replying on one of them.

Katy Thompson's mother was Irish, although on several of the earlier census returns she had given Scotland as her place of birth, Her name was Mary Ann Leneghan and the family came from Kilcoo in County Down but the family, along with the Duggans (another family connection), moved to Scotland when the children were very young.
