In the Will of David Quayle of Lezayre in 1701, there is reference to what appears to be some sort of group. The word is not easily read but is repeated three times.
He “bequeathed to the Honish his Right of the team and all husbandry gears”
And then later in the Will
“This to be understood that the bequest to the Honish
----y to be made good to whatever of his children shall becumm
Honish”
Is there anyone with an idea of what this might mean?
