Just returned from IOM & called in to the imuseum. Was shown the parts to view free ( forgotten most) but when the site comes up, click Family history on the left & you can get a bit up. Really it is a matter of having LOADS of time to just see what comes up. You can get some parts of the newspapers free but not the actual articles in close up. It seems as if it will be a few years before more is available so I have decided after all to wait for a subscription as I really only wanted the family history side.
