Thanks to members of this forum I've found quite a lot of information on my ancestors in the Isle of Man. My great grandparents Margaret nee Cubbon Manx born and Andrew McDowall from Ayreshire but living in Lonan and Ransey, Margaret's first husband Robert Daniel Mylechraine and her parent Margaret Kermode and Henry Cubbon. I have traced Margaret back to the Kinvig family in the 17th/18th century. If anyone has any more information on any of these families, I'd be really grateful.
