Re: John Kelly, my grandmother's and John James father. I only have a bit of oral family history. My aunt told me that her grandfather went to South Africa to work in the mines and never returned. Perhaps you have more resources or knowledge that will yield a lead or two as to where in South Africa this might be. Was there a movement among Manx miners to South Africa?
