A good trick is to look at tthe surrounding words for a clue as to the blundered example.

In this case the word 'are' is repeated just a few words later and looks just likw the blundered word, whereas there is a different word beginning with a 'W' just higher up and there is no similarity at all. Also Ann and Margaret seem to be dealtt with together.
