During the period 1643 - 1700 there are a lot of transactions 'missing' from Lib Vast. The first new Liber Assed after 1705 was based on the Composition Book, and not as previous years up to 1702 always on the old Liber Assed plus the entries in Liber Vast.The old Liber Asseds up to 1702 got very out of date (but not wholly so - there were continuing entries in LV for a % of properties.) After 1705 the officials and setting quest reverted back to waiting for an entry in LibVast before altering Liber Assed, with the difference that there was now an entry fine to be paid.
