I am looking for any information regarding my TAGGART family. So far I have traced back to Thomas Taggart who is my ggg grandfather - he was a boot/shoemaker and resided in Mill Street, Castletown. Thomas was married to a Jane Taggart. I have found that he had two sons, JOHN and HENRY - John Taggart is my gg grandfather and he was in the police, and then a stationmaster. Henry was noted as a boot/shoemaker but he was at my great great grandfathers (John Taggart)'s house 7 Tynwald Street, Douglas in the 1911 census. John married Sarah and I have been able to find 2 children so far - Florrie and Jenny. Florrie (Florence Taggart) had a child in 1928 - John Dennis Taggart and she later married a George Haring and they had a son named George Haring. Any further information would be muchly appreciated.
