Nothing specific, but a lot about Curghey's (Curghy's? or Curphey's?) is on the MANX NOTEBOOK. Old Manx family based around Ballalkillingan, Lezayre.
Matthias Curghey was vicar of Marown in 1728 plus a number of other parishes (including Lezayre) during his lifetime.
A number of Curgheys married into Casement family around early 1700's in Lezayre.
I'm still trying to link up this part of my family but I am definitely related to the Casement branch based in Andreas (around 1600). This has been proven through the DNA testing project.
I have found that specific links in the 1700's are not always that easy to prove, but I am still working on it.
