Very many thanks for your kind assistance in this. I am very new to searching for my ancestors, so please forgive any obvious mistakes I may make. Most of my information about George Day b 1791, his son, also George Day b 1816 who later married Lucy Kelly in 1844 and their son Richard Day b 1846 who was to marry Elizabeth Fargher in 1870, comes from this wonderful site. Apart from the Census and the Birth, Marrige and Death searches on here I am unsure of what other sources to examine to get more detailed information. But I will look into the suggestions you kindly gave me. Just one thing. When you wrote "Your George Day was buried Bra 18480114 - possibly an MI ? " could you tell me what MI means?
