Sorry to bother folks AGAIN, but in 2008, a kind lady MARY M. told me of a marriage of Frances Clarke (Shimmin), widow, to Philip Henry Quayle, widower, in Peel on June 20th. 1916.
So far I have been unable to trace a wedding of Frances Shimmin to "a Clarke", nor have I been able to locate her on 1911 Census, as Clarke or Shimmin.
Her parents were Philip Shimmin and Catherine Christian (Kewley)Shimmin, born 16th. December 1887, Stanley Road Peel.
Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks. Colin.
