A W Moore in a footnote (see www.manxnotebook.com/iomnhas/lm1p245.htm) states that the 1419 date for Jenkin is an error - This date is given as 1419 in the Statute Book, but this is clearly an error as Jenkin Moore and John Christian did not become Deemsters till 1498, as per record.
