I think we have been down this track before. The marriage didn't take place in Maughold - it is not in the parish register.

One of the several Church members' entries on the IGI says that ROBERT LOONEY
Death: NOV 1770
married ELIZABETH BARABAR or Llewellen in 1715 Botetourt, Virginia.
