Their parents were: Robert Costain(Costen) and Mary Christian m. 19May 1817 St Anne's Richmond, Liverpool Lancs (occupation Shipwright)

I am interested in this family. Brother George (above) was married at Rushen December 1842 to Ann Youart and subsequently was killed in the Brig "Lily" explosion Dec 1852 at Calf of Man. He left Widow and 5 children - 4 daughters, Margaret Jane, Mary Ann, Eleanor and Jane; then a son George born 2nd Jan 1853 just after the explosion.

We are descended through George Costain and Ann Youart through their daughter Jane.
Any information on this family would be gratefully received, especially info about the parents and descendants of the brothers.
