I'm still trying to work out my grandmother's parents, her birth cert arrived with only her mother Jessie Gillon listed on it. I am waiting for Jessie Gillons 1926 marriage cert to arrive I have looked at all the listed marriages on the IOM at that time but there are no Ball's married in 1926. I'm hoping she did marry a Ball as this would explain why she used that name, if not i wont have a clue where to look !! i read an archived post with regards to a Ball marrying into a Maughold Radcliffe family by Terence. just wondering if this could have been my grandmother's family?
