GRO: marriage Liverpool December 1852 v8b p235 . The certificate should give wifes maiden name and both fathers & occupations.

GRO: Liverpool June 1876 v8b p679 Evan marries Elizabeth Upton? In 1881 census they are living in Eastham, West Cheshire and there are no children."

You posted a reply to this message in 2008, but didn't say whether you had ordered the cert copies to confirm the relationships.
