His wife was Jane Quayle (born abt. 1797 Kirk Michael – died Nov. 1874 Kirk Michael).

I have the wife of Wm Quayle 1789-1856 as ANN Quayle CHR: 8 Jan 1786 Kirk Michael Parish Christening Records FHL Film
#0106737 the daughter of John Quayle and Ann Crellin.

MARRIAGE: 30 Apr 1814 Kirk Michael Parish Marriage Records FHL Film
#0106737 married William Quayle, weaver, the son of David Quayle and
Catharine Kelly of Ballagawne.

DEATH: 13 Apr 1866 Kirk Michael per will died age 80. Kirk Michael
Parish Burial Record #439 page 55 FHL Film #0106178

BURIAL: 15 Apr 1866 Kirk Michael Burial Register 1610-1981 Book Page
98: Anne aged 80 yrs Ballagawne.

Her will seems to have fallen off the will index--from Shirley Hogensen
ARCHDEACON WILL Kirk Michael 1867 #50 FHL Film #0106269:
This paper writing certifieth to be the last will and testament of Ann
Quayle widow of Ballagawne KK Michael being of sound mind memory and
understand at the signing and executing thereof this the l9th day of June
1863.
In the first place I commit my soul to God and my body to Christian
burial.
SECONDLY I leave to all cravers the sum of six pence each.
THIRDLY I leave to my daughter Jane wife of John Kelly the sum of Three
pounds and half of my wearing apparal.
FOURTHLY I leave to my son John Quayle the sum of two shillings and six
pence.
LASTLY: I leave the residue of my goods and effects, cash, credits, to my
daughter Mary Quayle and appoint her as executrix of this my last will
and testament and have caused my mark to be let to my name the day and
year before written. Ann Quayle my mark X

At an Ecclesiastical Court holden at Peel this 1st day of March 1867
William Cannan one of the subscribing witness to the execution of the
foregoing paper written purporting to be the last will and testament of
Ann Quayle deceased having under oath on the Holy Evangelists that the
said Ann Quayle when of sound and disposing mind memory and
understanding did by request executed the same at and for her last will
and testament in her persons and in the presence of John Hadden the
other subcribing witness now deceased - Mary Quayle the executrix in
said will named is therefore sworn well and truly to fulfil and execute
said will and to administor all and singular the personal estates and
effects of deceased according to law by paying her just debts and
funeral expenses and the legacies contained in her will so far forth and
they will extends, and the law bind her and to return unto the
Archdeacon's Registry a true and perfect inventory of all and -----
the said estates and effects with an accurate account of the
administration thereof when ------lawfully required and to these ends
she hath given pledges namely William Cannan and John Boyd who have
entered into and given the usual bond in presence of the court.

In the name of God Amen
I William Quayle of Ballagawne in the parish of Michael being sick and
weak of body but of sound mind and memory and understanding do make
this my last will and testament as follows:
This 17th day of October 1849
In the first place I commit my soul to God and my body to Christian
burial.
SECONDLY I leave to all cravers the sum of six pence each.
THIRDLY I leave to my son John Quayle and to my daughter Jane the wife
of John Kelly the sum of two shillings and six pence each.
THIRDLY I leave to my son William the sum of five pounds also the half
of the sheep.
FOURTHLY I leave to my daughter Mary Quayle the sum of five pounds also
the clock.
FIFTHLY I leave to my beloved wife all the rest of my goods and effects
both moverable and immoveable together with cash credits etc. And I
also appoint her whole and sole executrix of this my last will and
testament ratifying and confirming this and no other to be my last will
and testament the day and year before written -

At a Chapter Court held in Kirk Michael on the 12th day of June 1856.
John Cannan one of the subscribing witnesses to the foregoing paper
writing purporting to be the will of William Quayle deceased having
made oath upon the Holy Evangelists that said William Quayle the
testator when of sound and disposing mind memory and understanding
duly signed and executed the same as and for his last will and testament
in their presence - Ann Quayle the testator's widow the executrix
therein named is therefore sworn well and truly to fulfil and execute
said will according to law - to pay all the just debts legacies and
funeral expenses of said testatrix so far forth as the goods and effects
will extend and the law bind her and also to return to the Episcopal
Registry a full and true and perfect inventory of said estate and effects
with an accurate account of his acts and proceedings in the premises
when thereunto lawfully required. And to these ends she hath given
pledges namely John Kelly and John Cannan who have entered into and
executed the usual bond in presence of the court. Probatum est T. W.
