Thank you Frances; and to Lorraine for her further suggestions. I was hoping with an "illegitimate" in the baptism it would make life a little easier, but will have to pursue other means of confirmation.
I started trying to find the connections from the 1851 Lonan census wherein Ann Kermode, sister (and pauper) resided with her brother John Kermode and family. At that time was listed two servants: Isabell Magee and Sarah Keig. In the 1861 Lonan census John Kermode and his family were neighbours to an Ann Kermode (Head) with William Killey (son-in-law) and his wife Isabella and Margaret. I have a marriage (20 Oct 1860) for William Killey and Isabella Magee (d/o Wm Magee). It appears that William Killey died in Jun 1863 and Ann Kermode continued to reside with her daughter Isabella through the 1881 census. The 1841 census shows an Ann Kermode living with Sarah Keig (age 9) and Isabella Magee (Age 4).
The 1837 bapt Frances provides would seem to fit the association of Isabella as the daughter of Ann Kermode but I haven't been able to find a marriage for William McGee/Magee and Ann Kermode. I suppose Isabella could still have been illigitimate.
Are the catholic BMDs on separate LDS films?
Thanks again
