Having purchased copies of wills from the IOM Registry within the years 1919 to 1926, I have been disappointed to find that while in each case the Administrator has been 'called upon to make , or cause to be made a true and perfect inventory of all and singular the Personal estate and Effects of the said deceased', none of these are linked to the wills nor do they seem to be available.
They would give such a valuable insight into the lives of the individuals concerned. Is there anywhere else such documents may have been kept or is it common practise that they are not available?
