I have a William Halsall born c1835 on the 1851 census, living with his sister (I think) at Glen Rushen occupation Lead Mine Labourer - I am trying to "prove" that his father was a Thomas Halsall born 1796 in Malew and just wonder if any one has any advice as to how I can? I really appreciate your help! Thomas was buried in Malew on 1 June 1862. On William's marriage certificate his father's occupation is Joiner. I have posted this information before but just wondered if there is any new records available to help me.
