On Parish record for marriage of William Quirk and Ann Quirk July 5th 1863 it states " with consent of parents". Presumably this was because Ann was under age? Born 01 June 1845. Can anyone confirm the age at which consent was not needed? Also could consent be given by mother alone if father was deceased?
