Hello John,

You put far more details about the b/m/ds and censuses you already hold for your family in your messages on this board in 2007, and there were answers and additional information given on that thread. Please see: tinyurl.com/7m4yuz8

Len Faragher suggested that "the use of the name Quiggin for the children may be significant. James Quiggin was christened 1816 to James Moore and Sarah Quiggin see IGI". You were going to investigate this.

I gave you the Maughold par reg information, and you were going to obtain certs etc. to add to the information.

There were also other threads about your family on the board. Unfortunately only part of this 2000 message remains, under "Cowell":
"....from the Isle of Man, my husbands mum knows that she was born about 1880, her mum Frances Margaret Maxwell lived to be nearly 100!! and her father James Henry Moore was a gravedigger, the family originated ... "

There was this 2006 message headed Paddy Maxwell By:Elena Fitzpatrick - was this yours?

There was no answer to that one, but you might have missed a fairly recent thread [2011] which has a lot of information which would be of interest to you, about another of Paddy's daughters Annie Maxwell born Ramsey 1875, at: tinyurl.com/82mrctm

One person who responded said she has an online tree for the Maxwells together with uploaded certificates.
