Assistance needed please.
I have bought one month's credits in the British Newspaper Archive....searching the IOM Times.

I am looking for a mining accident article either at Laxey or Snaefell mine.

Robert Kelly was born K. Michael 1860. He is at an Institution for the Blind, Liverpool in 1881 Census (as Richard Kelly!!!), learning basket-making.
I know he was blinded 'as a young man' in one of these mines, and want to know more !
I have 'searched' using the following words,
Robert Kelly mining accident blinded loss sight. I have searched 100 references, another 290 to go.
From 1870 to 1879.
I'll finish tomorrow. Can anyone suggest any other words I could use in the 'search'. Or any other ideas would be appreciated. Thanks
