Thanks Frances, I thought that was the case (with the roads). I'll check further on the mysterious Margaret - just wanted to ask about late christening as my gggf evidently was christened 3 years after birth (listed in register as such, so probably indicates that it was unusual). His younger brother was baptised on the same day, also.
