II'm having trouble finding John Caine/Ann Craine. Is this the family? Older John is with 2nd wife Catherine Cottier, first wife is Mary Clague
the Younger John could be his son but I can't identify the wife and family members.

I did see in Goodwin's Scraps that in 1866 John Caine murdered his wife and then cut his own throat.
The MI is as you wrote.
The burial register noted that John did not have a service.
