what year is the will - tho it is easy to make mistakes (mine are probably countless) hands post late 17th C should be relatively easy - earlier hands need some care + experience with difficulty increasing very much as you get into early 17th C (ie pre 1640) or earlier. My own bugbear is untidy early 19th C hands with a special hatred for sloppy census enumerators and prolix wills + deeds.
