I've been looking into some Leeces, et al and of course stumbled across a Caine connection which has side-tracked me a bit.
Margaret Caine md John Corlett 25 Oct 1774 in Ballaugh
John's parents are Thomas Corlett and Ellinor Leece.
I think that Margaret's parents are Michael Caine & Mary Mollevorry who md 25 Oct 1740 Ballaugh.
I think that this was Mary's will

I haven't seen Michael's will CAIN, Michael 1799-2 Bal E w 0106406
Unfortunately, no summary
The Leece researcher has shown me some info from a 1781 Patrick will of Margaret Caine Corlett that seems to possibly fit the above Margaret Caine though I'm not certain why the will is in Patrick
I also believe that the youngest child, Philip, was born 1783 which would not be possible.
CORLETT, Margaret 1781-2 Pat E w 0106396 I've not seen the full will
1781-2 E w CORLETT Margaret Caine d 21 aug 1781;w/o john exec;sis ellinor corris (+her 2 sons + dau);mo joney caine;names joney shimin,thos corkan's poor dau,saml keigg,philip corris's wife
This would suggest that at least this Margaret Caine Corlett's mother was Joney. So far I'm not sure what possibilities exist for this possibility.
If any Caine/Corlett researchers know of any of these folks, I would appreciate your input.
Someday I'm going to go totally bonkers with all of these Caines!
Donna
However, other info seems to question this and suggest that Margaret's mother was Joney ?
