I was aware of this date, but I have the marriage certificate of my GGrandfather Phillip Kneen m: 1st Dec 1883 in Emerald Hill (South Melbourne) Victoria Australia where he stated his age as 56, born Ramsey IOM which would make his birth date around 1827 which I can't find on IGI anywhere. Very confusing.
