I'm opening up this thread again although I'm convinced there was another one where Eliza Watterson's father was discussed. Can't find it though.

Eliza was the youngest child of Isabella (Collister) Watterson:

Her brother Fell was born about 5 months after his father died on the Brig Lily, which is feasible, but she was born 7 years later and no father is mentioned in the baptism record, on the IGI at least. I have just found her marriage to Richard Moore where her father is given as Thomas Watterson:

I don't know anything about the John Watterson who fathered her siblings so can't guess if Thomas is connected. Has anyone been researching John Watterson's family?
