I've found a closer Manx connection for Ada Iniff. Her father, Thomas Iniff, died in 1889 when Ada was age 2. In Sept 1893 in Liverpool, her mother, Susannah/Annie nee Bradley, married William Corris age 55 b IOM (son of Sylvester Corris). There were 4 children born to this marriage and at least 2 died in infancy. The bizarre thing is that Annie appears in the 1901 Liverpool census (with 3 of her Iniff children) as Annie Iniff, not as Annie Corris, and there's no sign of William Corris, nor of Annie and William's children.
